GSA Selective Rack Replacement For US Air Force

The Project

Tear-down and full replacement of selective pallet racking for a US Air Force facility, upgrading capacity and bringing the system into seismic code compliance. Nucor racking installed with ProDeck and wire decking throughout.

The Challenge

The existing racking system lacked the capacity the facility needed and did not meet current seismic force protection requirements. The entire system had to be torn down and replaced with code-compliant racking, all while coordinating within GSA procurement and base access protocols.

The Outcome

Hammerhead removed the outdated racking and installed a new Nucor selective pallet rack system engineered to seismic compliance standards. ProDeck and wire decking were used across the installation, increasing storage capacity while meeting all applicable building codes for the region.
